Rusty Proudbottom appointed Mascot of New Media - Designs. Rusty comes to us from a breeder in Hanford California. Rusty spent the first 22 months of his life in Southern California but now resides in Fremont. It has been an interesting transition with such a wet winter and his incredible appetite for socks but he is settling in comfortably to his new role.

Welcome to New Media - Designs updated website. Today we transition to a full dynamic site with the help of Drupal. With this release comes a commitment to post some useful information on a regular basis. That won't be too hard to start with because I have a list of lessons learned with this Drupal implementation.

This feels like a great opportunity to post some notes about advertising on the web for my clients who ask about the very basics. I have been receiving many questions about search engine optimization for websites and social media tools these days. So it seems that the first blog post is a good place to start with some of those very basic definitions by answering these questions.
